Hello Hello Hello……..

Hey Everyone….Sure hope you are all snug in your comfy homes tonight…’s SO cold outside…and some of you I know are slip sliding around!!!!!!  Stay safe!!!
So…2 weekends in a row I played…How about that!!  I had an order for a birthday card I needed to create…..and I knew I wanted to utilize the new Pop Card Studio software that’s out where you can create your own pop up cards……It’s a pretty nifty program…….There are some wonderful tutorials out there that are SUPER helpful….one person that I HIGHLY recommend to watch her videos is Susan BlueRobot….she does a fantastic job of explaining the software…..
I had a lot of fun……I wanted to create a bit of a elegant card for the person as she’s turning 18…….and she’s a very sweet young lady……..and loves cooking……so that’s what I went with….Here’s what I came up with…

To create the front of the card I used some gutter screen and my Ebosser and embossed the sheet and then put pearls and the center of each cross of the pattern…love that look…makes it look like a pillow….
For the cake I used a stencil and some texture spackle and gave a pattern to the cake layers……then used a lot of my Tattered Angels sprays to color…..did the same for the cake slice on the inside of the card……I modified one of my  PDC cut files for the cake……and thought I would share the files I created for this card….In case anyone might be interested…you can find them below…..

So that does it for me for tonight!!!! I hope you enjoyed my card….I really love the elegant look of it!!! I would…as always like to THANK YOU so much for stopping by to visit with me….I wish you all a very blessed week and I do so hope you will stop by again…..until then….

Creations-by-AR-Lovely Cart

So I have Spring on the mind!!! ;)  How about you....are you about as done with Winter as me!!  LOL  This has been one COLLLLLLD Winter!!! Some of you "might" remember a month or so ago that I was blessed to be added to Creations by AR Design Team!!!

Well…..I’m EXCITED to say it’s come time for the First Design Team Project and It’s a WONDERFUL creation she’s come up with…. I REALLY REALLY had a lot of fun with this!!!!!
The file is called Lovely Cart and it is really lovely!!!! And it worked so well with my trusty Silver Bullet Professional Cutter.

So I decided to cut the file out of white Poster Board……so it would  be fairly sturdy……came in 11”x14” sheets.

Once I got it all cut out I decided I wanted to make it look like metal… I used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists’ in several colors….for the base of the cart I used :  Vintage Pink, Shade, Camel, Pewter and Chalkboard Fern…for the top of the cart I used:  Woven Burlap, Clam Bake, Coconut Shell, Saffron and Chalkboard Fern… here’s how the Lovely Cart turned out once I had it all colored and assembled….

Then I had to decide what I wanted to go inside the Lovely Cart and I decided I would like to add a bunch of my handmade flowers to make it feel like the bouquet was just bursting out of the cart……..and I must say I really think I achieved that affect…..
First I decided to “fill” the inside of the cart a bit…so I would use less flowers…so I grabbed some burlap…..and used my hot glue gun to adhere to the inside…here’s how that turned out….

Then it was on to filling the inside…I used a combination of silk ivy and several of my handmade flowers….including my PDC Daffodils, PDC Grungy Roses, PDC Indian Paintbrushs, PDC Cala Lilies and some PDC Roses……to create all of these I used my PDC Cut Files I have previously created and shared in the past…….of which you can see all of my PDC Free Cut Files I offer…
Wanna see the finished project?…….

To see any of the images bigger…please feel free to click on the image and it will open a bigger window….So what do you think???? Isn’t it pretty……my hubby said it really looked like metal which made me smile…..
So…Guess What????  You could have a chance to win this Lovely Cart file by Creations by AR…….wanna know how??????
