My Cutting Files

Hello Everyone...after much thought I have decided once again to share my cutting files with you all....If you are interested there is a link at the top of my blog underneath the header which will take you to my download site for the files.....Please be aware...while browsing through my previous blogposts... when you find a file you like.....the link for that image is broken...you will need to go to the link at the top of my blog to do a search for the file to download....as it is too time consuming to go through each and every post and correct the links for the files. I trust you will all understand this.
I too, will again offer the entire collection for purchase on DVD if anyone would be interested...you will find the option for that in my store....As I create new files they will be complied on a DVD in the future for those who prefer to combine that way.

Having a bit of FUN....

Being home sick today gave me the opportunity to try my hand at coloring my next piece using my Spectrum Noir Markers......I'm finding I'm loving them more and more each time I use them.....blending is getting easier...HOWEVER....I still have ALOT to learn on coloring the hair.......just got to work on the flicking more.......LOL I LOVE also using the Heartfelt Creations stamps.....flowers are my favorite and their flowers and leaves are so wonderful........and the fairy is a digi stamp from Stamps by Aurora Wings.......Here's the card I came up with after doing all my coloring....

For the coloring of the Digi Image I used the following colors:
LV1, PL2, GG1, GG2, GG3, DG4, EB2, GB1, GB5, E00, F53, PP3, BG3, BG5, BG9, BT1, BT4

For the coloring of the flowers and leaves I used the following colors:
LV1, PL2, DG4, EB2

Added pearls to the flowers and the corners...stamped and embossed the phrase.....I really love how this card turned out.......And I'm loving my markers more and more each time....

Then I was also trying to work more with my embroidery machine.......My oldest son is an absolutely amazing ARTist......I've shared things he's drawn in the past.....well I decided to take a couple of his drawings and make them into embroidery files..........and actually stitched them out.......I LOVE how they turned out so I thought I would show you them as well.....

I personally love how these turned out.........and my oldest son has seen them and he's very impressed!!! So made my day!!!!

Well.....that's it for me for the day.........I want to THANK YOU so much for stopping by to visit with me!!!!  I hope you enjoyed your visit and I do hope you will come by again!!! Have a very blessed week....until next time....

I'm so excited....I'm learning.......

Hey Everyone....Happy Friday to you!!! I hope you are all enjoying a wonderful Good Friday....and are safe in this weather we've had over the past couple of days......So...I had the day off...and I took advantage of it.....I started collecting the Spectrum Noir markers last year.......and had really not taken time to learn how to use them properly.......and I have been wanting to.....so that's what I've done over the last several days......Youtube has been my friend...and I've watched lots of awesome videos from Spectrum Noir and a few others trying to soak in all the knowledge I can.......

So last night I started trying to apply some of the things I learned.....boy does it take practice!!! LOL  BUT I did actually complete my first piece that I'm rather proud of....I KNOW I still have ALOT of practicing to do.......but at least I feel like I can create something that I would be proud to send out.......wanna see?????

Not to bad huh???......I know it's not perfect.....but I sure am thrilled with it......the stamp I used was from Stampendous.....it has the base flower and the single flowerlets and the leaves.....I think it's a beautiful set........

To color the flowers I used Spectrum Noir colors LV1, LV3, DG2, DG4 ......I know they recommend using at least 3 colors.....but for me using 2 on the flowers and 2 on the leaves worked for me this time.......will eventually get to using 3 or more colors....but we have to start somewhere right????
That's what I'm telling myself anyway!! LOL  I went around the edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs.........and used some chunky glass glitter on the centers of the flowers.......

The background paper of the card I used a sheet from "At the Vineyard" paper pack from Paper House.......distressed the edges with Gathered Twigs......added some ribbon and pearls......and called it complete.......  Would love to hear what you think....No where near perfect I know...but not a bad start at least???

Ok....That does it for me now....off to play some more.....I want to THANK YOU so much for stopping by to visit with me!!!  I'm thrilled when I hear from you.....I do hope you will come by again......I wish you all a very blessed and Happy Easter......Until next time.....
