Hey Everyone…I hope you’re all having wonderful Monday!!!! What a 24 hours I’ve had….sometime yesterday afternoon I was advised through emails by others that My Free Cut Files that I offer on my Windows Live account were cut off…..they were having some struggles….I thought that it was a bit puzzling….scratching my head no doubt!!!! I tried to access it with no luck….so I sent an inquiry into Microsoft….they respond back “there’s no issued” things are working fine…..Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh NOT!!!! So after several emails and finally resolving to the fact my files were lost in a dark dark hole…I am SURPRISED by a very dear friend with a phone call to inform me my files are back on line……..WHAT???????? You’re kidding!!!!
Well…..she’s RIGHT….apparently whatever Microsoft’s issues were….they’ve resolved them……So I took this opportunity to revamp my blog…….trying out some of the new cutting edge blog layouts Blogger is offering…and have placed the links to My Free Cut Files on the top of my blog…..which I might say is pretty cool!!!!
So…..I hope you like the new layout….I think I do…seems the page loads A LOT easier!!!! And you can change to look at what ever format you prefer by clicking on the down arrow on the left top of my blog!!! Would love to hear what you think!!!
If you’re wanting to follow my blog there is an RSS Feed link in the very top right…..it’s not very prominent………Hopefully they will improve on that very soon!!!!! I’ve heard from several it’s loading MUCH faster which is a GREAT thing!!!!!! Also for any interested….IF you are interested you can click on the Google+ below and follow me on Google+….as I’ve cancelled my Facebook account and have removed all my information from there…it’s just a personal choice I’ve made for myself….I never really visited Facebook and as time went on began losing more and more interest for it….To me…Google+ offers more direction for those of us who share the common ART passion…..

It definitely loads faster but it seems strange not seeing that familiar background!

ReplyDeleteWow! I have to agree that it does look strange not seeing all your blog but it does pop up faster. Sometimes I would worry clicking on your blog because sometimes it would lock up my ole Bessy but this is great! So glad you didn't loose all your files you've worked so hard to post for us :)

ReplyDeleteI tried yesterday and couldn't manage to go on your site, so happy I tried again today. I'm a neby with the silhouette and found your site through a recommendation from Silhouett Plus, and I am SO VERY HAPPY that i found you! Your files and the stuff on your site is AMAZING!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me a great start in this new craft. I am sure it's going to give me hours of pleasure. Now I just have to figure out how to use the silhouette and then I can start cutting the awesome files on your blog.

PENNY DUNCAN with all your creative flair that is so YOU, It is just stuck in a corner.
I think it would of looked Better with your Nice Header and then the rest plain.

Loving the new layout, Penny. I've been thinking of revamping my blog for ages, and I really like the wider, 2-column layout which wastes a lot less space. Might take a leaf out of your book, and while I'm at it, redo the design as it's a bit tired now, and not so much "me" since I've developed over the past 18 months!!
ReplyDeleteI read on Wendy's blog that your cut files were unavailable (then a footnote to say they were again) - Shoshi in a flat panic I can tell you! I thought it might be a repeat of that horrible unpleasantness you had a while back when someone attacked you so viciously about your beautiful work and your free files. What a relief that that wasn't the case!

Sheba cut her first card yesterday - it's on my blog. I'm feeling well chuffed as they say over here. Sheba's a happy bunny (kitty) now she's come of age and cut her grown up teeth lol!

It looks fantastic! Blog loads fast and either this is new or I'm a dork and just now figured this out.....but there is a button which enables thumbnail views to be seen. I've never noticed this before and all I had was a list view and had to click on each and every file to see what it was....and there are a lot of files!!! I will not be able to use your fabulous files more often. Thanks so much for making them available to us and sharing your wonderful talent!

Hi Penny, I'm new to your site--well I have visited off and on for he past few months-you seem to do "my style" of art, lol! I had a quick question and I'm not sure where to post it. I successfully downloaded your PDC Grungy Clock in SVG, but it's double when I upload it into SCAL. I still have version 1--(didn't get in on the version 2 before it was too late)So I'm trying to cut it on my Cricut. Can you help? Love your .svg files, I come to you to look first!! I cannot find any way to get to your cut files and tutorials with your new page layout. I had your blog bookmarked for your paper flower tutorials, but there's no way to find them now. If there's a link someplace it's either missing or invisible, or too obscure for a newcomer to find.
