It's another Tuesday....and another Challenge for TTCRD

Hey Hey Everyone.....Hope you are all having a great week!!!!

So....It's that time again.....Time for another Anything Goes Challenge over at Through the Craft Room Door....... ;)

This week I got to work with an awesome digi image from Drawn with Character

And this is what I did with this adorable image!!!!

I had SUCH a fun time making this card!!!!  I used all kinds of goodness of supplies....and most importantly....my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter and SCAL4....the BEST pairing out there....

I took the digi image and created a cut file with it....and drew it out using the Pen Tool for my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter and used one of my LePen Marvey .5mm pens...onto 104# Strathmore Coldpress Watercolor Paper....(something you wouldn't be able to run through you printer!!  BUT you can draw on it with the Silver Bullet!!!)..and then cut out layers of the image so I could add dimension to the elephant....I think it turned out adorable.....

I colored the elephant and cupcake with my Spectrum Aqua Markers.....this was my first time to use the markers and I must say they blend like a dream!!!!  SO happy to have them....will be using them more often...

For the Happy Birthday.....I created a pennant file and also used one of my Banners....and drew the words with my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter.....decided I didn't want to fill the inside of the letters....it was just as easy for me to color the letters in.....then put a coat of Wink of Stella on them....LOVE this stuff!!!! I backed the pennant and the banner with some of my .022 chipboard...give is the perfect stability.......Remember...if you're needing any .022" or .030" chipboard you're welcome to head on over to My Store and grab some!!!!

Here's a complete list of supplies I used to create this adorable card (even if I must say so myself!!! LOL)
LePen by Marvy - Black .5mm pen
Faber Castel - Black M
Spectrum Aqua Markers: Tan/Charcoal/Chocolate/Black/Sunflower/Peach/Orchid/Wildflower
3D Foam Squares
140# Strathmore Cold Press Watercolor Paper
DCWV-Cherry Limeaide/Striped Page
American Craft - Dots & Stripes
Black Glitter Paper
Chalboard Paper Base
Bakers Twine
Wink of Stella
Glossy Accents
Gogglie Eyes
Gathered Twigs Distgress Ink and marker

Isn't it cute???? I had SO much fun with this.....and love all the sparkle.....

So....don't you want to join in on the Challenge???? We would LOVE to have you join along.......Show us what you're creating.....and perhaps you might just win....you can learn more about the Challenge on the TTCRD Blog here....

It's time.....Let's Draw Digis with our Silver Bullet Pro Cutter and the Pen Tool...

Hello Hello.....It's me again....I hope you've all enjoyed a wonderful week.....Can't believe another week has passed since my last video....My how time flies right!!!

SO.....I keep thinking about all the ideas I can come up with to use the Pen Tool by Sherri at That's Scrap Inc.....the home of the Silver Bullet Professional Cutter.......I have fallen in love with this tool because it's just so versatile for me to use in my ART!!!!  I came up with an idea that I think is awesome and FUN to use....and opens yet another door for possibilities of what your mind can think up.......It's Drawing Digis with my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter, the Pen Tool and SCAL4(PRO)......and I LOVE this technique.....so I worked up a video to try to explain it to you better.....Hope you like it....

Well......Didn't you think it was cool?????  I sure hope so.....Just opens up the door for so many ideas don't ya think????  Thought I would show you a closer view of the same images I shared at the end of the video.......

I am so addicted to flowers I tell ya!!! LOL  I think they truly make a project...and it is so special when they're something you make yourself and you can custom make them for whatever project YOU want!!!!

So.....I thought I would show you a pic of the pens that I used to draw the detail lines....just in case you wanted to be on the lookout for them yourself......they really are nice pens.....

As I shared in the video...I found these pens at Dick Blicks.......here's a direct link to them.....

I'll also share while I was at Michael's today I noticed they had almost the exact same pens only with the Recollections marking on them....I would swear they were the same pens...BUT they are cheaper at Dick Blicks.......Just an FYI!! ;)

I also shared in the video that I was going to offer the modified flower files I created in My ETSY Store for anyone who might want them rather then doing them yourself......If you are interested in them you can find them at the link here.....

I just can not say enough wonderful things about the Silver Bullet Professional Cutter...I know I say that each and every time....but it is so very true!!!!!  If you are on the search for a cutting machine that would meet your needs...I highly recommend you check into this machine......The Customer Service that Sherri extends to her customers is absolutely 2nd to None!!!  She has created such an amazing Learning Center as well as a Forum that is filled with owners of the cutters that really enjoy helping others......and we love to enable too!! ;)

Okie Dokie Artichokie!!!! That's my project for this week....I REALLY hope you liked it...I would LOVE to hear from you.....Do you have any thoughts, any questions, ideas for tutorials you would like for me to do??? I would LOVE to know....please don't be shy....leave me a comment here....or drop me an email at pennyduncan@att.net.....I hope you'll watch the video and give me a thumbs up....it helps to move the video up on the showing list....and if you're not a subscriber...I would love to have you become one!!!!

I want to THANK YOU so much for taking some time out of your day to visit with me......I would like to wish you a very blessed week...and I do so hope you'll come back by.......how about next week??? ;)  Until then......

Hello Again...It's time for another Challenge over at TTCRD!!

Good Morning Good Morning Everyone....Hope you are all enjoying a wonderful week so far.....SO...It's that time again....Time for another Challenge over at Through The Craft Room Door..

This time I decided to use an image from The Craft Place.......it's a fairy.....can't find a link to the image at the store.....but it's an adorabe image....

I decided to use the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner technique as I shared with you on yesterdays blog/post video.....thought I would show you all the supplies I used...and of COURSE you know my Silver Bullet Professional Cutter is in there...along with SCAL4 Pro....Just love love love this combination!!!

If you need a refresher of exactly what I'm doing with the pens....I would love for you to check out the blogpost from yesterday...here.....

Just thought I would show you how the file looked in SCAL4 Pro after I had placed my colored layers on top of the black back layer.

Here it is with the Silver Bullet Professional Cutter drawing it out...

Isn't that AWESOME how well the colors from the pens bleed......I love this technique....it's like a hidden surprise....LOL

And here's the card I created after coloring the image with the paintbrush and water....

After I colored the image with the paintbrush and water I then cut out some decorative paper for the border layers.....and did a staggered height for the 2 layers by cutting some of the .030" chipboard I sell in My Store.....to give it a bit more dimension.....and then colored the inner layer with some of the purple Staedtler Pens then coatee with Wink of Stella....used more of the Wink of Stella on the outside frame and also on the banner piece...after I color washed that with more of the Staedtler Pens......this was a fun project to create.....There was definately lots of steps...but I really think the outcome is kinda cool....thought it does look as if she got a bit messy with her lipstick!!! LOL

So....How about you???? Are you gonna jump in on the Challenge over at TTCRD....If so....click on the button below and head on over and enter your creation....Never know..you just might win!!
Through The Craft Room Door
